READINGS FROM THE WORKS OF PERSECUTED WRITERS – Persecuted Writers Project – February 24, 2020

The London Central Public Library celebrates “Freedom to Read Week”
Global Importune’s “Persecuted Writers Project”

When: Monday, February 24, 2020 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: London Central Public Library, Wolf Performance Hall
251 Dundas Street, London, Ontario

During Freedom to Read Week, Canadians all across the country celebrated their right to read whatever material they wish.

Sadly, however, there are people in other countries who do not enjoy the same privilege. Some have been and are currently imprisoned merely for their writings and we as a concerned community gather together to give voice to those who can not speak for themselves.

Your support could help free Amnesty International political prisoners in Canada, Indonesia, Rwanda, Poland, Greece, North Korea, United States, Turkey, Ecuador, Australia, Zimbabwe, Colombia, Argentina, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Maldives, Burma, Bangladesh, Viet Nam.
